SUPPORTING THE ARTS DURING COVID-19
The past several months have been very difficult for so many people, and I'd like to thank all of my friends, family and fans that have been so generous and supportive during this time. I have been diligent during this time not only creating new music, but also learning recording and editing skills to create new videos and higher quality live-streaming. It's hard to imagine performances returning to how they used to be, so I am leaning into technology and creating more things for you to access online. While this is a bit of a gamble to see if I can continue my work and continue to pay bills, it's more important that everyone stay safe and healthy. We are in this together. If you are in a situation where you would like to support my work, there are several ways you can do that:
Follow me on all the platforms!
Help me grow by liking and sharing the content you enjoy on social media. Word of mouth is still the very best promotion and its more meaningful if it is from a real person.
Purchase merchandise from my online store
I have CDs and stickers I was planning to sell at shows. I have had so many shows cancelled I stopped keeping track. I also have designs that I have created during quarantine that could be printed on several items, like shirts, mugs, etc. You can also simply "Tip Marina"!
Purchase a dedication video
I will arrange, record the song of your choice with a special dedication to you or a loved one. This is the perfect social-distancing gift for birthdays, anniversaries and also just for fun during these hard times. Send me photos and I can incorporate them into the video for that extra personalized touch. I am offering these on a sliding-scale basis.
Donate via PayPal
I am accepting donations. All proceeds go to keeping the music going. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can donate with a credit card through the "Tip Marina" option in the store.
Subscribe on YouTube
Monetization on YouTube is only available to accounts that have 1000+ followers. Once I hit 1000 subscribers, our content will then be eligible for monetization and I will be able to make a small amount of revenue with my original content. This is a great option because its FREE and EASY. All you have to do is hit subscribe!
Watch my livestream show "Coffee and Ukes" Thursdays at 10am Pacific
Emily McVicker and I have created a project (and frankly a beacon of light and hope in my life) designed to help us keep playing music, stay sane, and stay connected with current fans and hopefully reach new ones. We developed a lovely little community that gets together and drinks coffee and chats while we play music via a live stream on Facebook.
Let me know if you are interested in becoming a member on Patreon
While I become more skilled and efficient at recording and making videos, I'm curious about the level of interest in exclusive live videos I have filmed around the city. Membership would start at $5 a month. I'm currently in the planning/curating stage but please let me know if you would like more information about becoming a patron:
